Warioware: Move It! Grooves and Moves Its Way to Nintendo Switch This Friday
Grab a pair of Joy-Con and get moving* with WarioWare: Move It! as you gently shake, punch, dance, wiggle and even curtsey through a multitude of microgames, each lasting just a few hilarious seconds. Get into poses called Forms, including the confident Fashionista or the chicken-like Ba-KAW and then get moving.
In Story mode players will go through different stages, each with their own character, story and back-to-back lightning-fast microgames. Each stage also has its own variety of Forms to go with its microgames. With two sets of Joy-Con, players can journey through Story Mode with a friend. At the end of each stage, a boss appears for a special type of battle. As players progress through the game, they’ll unlock extra stages, with microgames that’ll get you moving from head to toe like Megagame Muscles, and extra challenging stages like Super Hard.
Once you’ve played a microgame once, you can play it again whenever you’d like in the Museum mode. This is useful if players want to practice their skills at a microgame, or adjust the tempo to a faster pace to see how silly and intense things can get.
Battle it out with 2-4 players**, each with one Joy-Con, in the local Party Mode. Reach the goal without getting turned to stone by Medusa in Medusa March or take on Galactic Conquest, a dicey board game with Wario’s very own rules. Move alongside your friends in these zany contests where everyone can have a blast playing games like Go the Distance, in which players will put up their dukes for a rapid microgames gauntlet, and The Who’s In Control show, a 4 player team-based guessing game that requires one team to watch the other and guess which of the opposing players is actually playing and which one is pretending. You can even find out who follows a strange doctor’s random orders best in Listen to the Doctor.
* When playing with a Joy-Con controller detached from your Nintendo Switch console, please use the Joy-Con strap, and lock and fasten the strap securely. Hold the Joy-Con firmly and do not let go of it, unless otherwise instructed. Allow adequate room around you during gameplay.
** Multiplayer requires one compatible Joy-Con per player. Additional Joy-Con (sold separately) may be required.
